You forgot to include the SD71 Comox school trustee! Jennifer Fisher has been acclaimed and will be absolutely fabulous. Jenn comes with years of volunteerism in both her school PAC and at DPAC, has worked closely with previous trustees to support students, and Jenn has been an awesome advocate for parents and caregivers.

Hi Brooke — We didn’t include any of the acclaimed candidates, just the ones still in a race.

Thanks, George, for your dogged work in reporting the municipal elections. Informative and refreshing. Essential reading for voters. Much appreciated!

   Hi George,

Thanks for your analysis. Hoping for a larger voter turnout. All candidates are to be commended for running in this election. Acclamations are not great for democracy , nor is lack of interest in getting out to vote. Who ever is elected has many challenges , as do those in most municipal and Regional governments . So good to see so much interest in these important roles. We will soon see how voters see the issues in this election.

I hope you will follow up on the actions of all elected and acclaimed, over the next four years. I plan to follow up on fiscal responsibility, which I value as an issue,as well as public safety.

I agree with your Town of Comox picks. Not surprising Ken Grant is in cahoots with developers. Hopefully he will be gone. One vision is about preserving our community the other is about GREED. Look what they have done by Hector Rd.
